University students once again choose Garrigues as the best law firm to work for
For the second year in a row, Garrigues has been chosen as the best law firm to work for. A study carried out by Universum and PeopleMatters, consulting firms specializing in people management, named Garrigues as the firm of choice among law students. In the overall Humanities category (which, apart from Law and Humanities, also includes Art and Education), the firm took 12th place.
Carried out over a period of six months (September 2014 – March 2015) in conjunction with more than forty universities and business schools, the study analyzes the overall preferences of Spanish university students. The report evaluates the different aspects of professional careers that appeal to young students, the features that lead them to choose a particular employer and how they view the companies and organizations taking part. According to the report, students look for training and professional development, a good working environment, well-known and innovative brands, inspiring leaders and a balance between their professional and personal lives.
In total, the study evaluated over 65,000 companies, based on answers given by more than 18,000 students of Business Studies, Engineering, Natural and Health Sciences, Humanities, Art, Education and Law. This recognition joins the plaudits received from Merco Personas and Actualidad Económica, where Garrigues was also named the preferred law firm of university students and one of the best companies to work for.
