Law on Support for Entrepreneurs: new measures to boost business activity
Recently we published a series of blog articles on the Preliminary Bill on Support for Entrepreneurs and their Internationalization, where we commented on changes made by the new law in three major practice areas: corporate/commercial, labor and employment, and tax.
Now that the law has been published in the Official State Gazette (Law 14/2013, of September 27, 2013, on support for entrepreneurs and their internationalization), we review the main improvements brought about by this law, chiefly aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and boosting business activity in Spain from the time a business is set up all the way through to its development, growth and internationalization. This document describes the main changes, classified according to the different legal practice areas: corporate/commercial, labor and employment, tax and administrative law.
We also specifically analyze the new regulatory framework of internationalization covered bonds, and the changes made to numerous aspects of the Insolvency Law in order to enable entrepreneurs to take full advantage of the support measures introduced by the Law.
