Aside from the running of the Firm, he continues his professional practice as an expert in corporate governance, securities markets, company law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, banking and finance law, and insurance.
For his part, Antonio Garrigues has been named Honorary Chairman in recognition of his commendable track record and enormous contribution to the development of the Firm he has presided over since 1962, as well as to preserve his close ties to the institution, which stretch back over more than sixty years. Moreover, he will continue as Chairman of Fundación Garrigues.
The Partners’ Meeting also approved the reappointment of Ricardo Gómez-Barreda as Garrigues’ Senior Partner for a further four-year term.
