3rd Garrigues University Awards: Valencia and Murcia
If you are a final-year law student at any university in the Community of Valencia or Murcia and are keen to demonstrate your legal talents and have the chance to win a cash prize and a potential internship at Garrigues, this could be your opportunity.
The Garrigues University Awards: Valencia and Murcia, aimed at top law students, have been launched for the third year running. To take part, you need to submit an application form and your CV, a copy of your full academic record reflecting an overall grade higher than 7.5, and a letter of motivation.
The competition will be held in a single session at our Valencia office during the third week of September, and you will be given sufficient time to prepare. Make the most of this opportunity to take on the oral defense and resolution of a business law case study before a jury made up of leading legal professionals. The deadline for submission of applications is Friday, July 10.
Candidates who meet these requirements and decide to take part will have the chance to win a cash prize (€1,000), grants for internships at Garrigues, as well as books and other academic materials. You will find full information on the awards, the terms and conditions and the application form on our website.
The winners of the second edition of the awards, held last year, were Rebeca Gea, a law student from Universidad de Murcia, and Rubén Díaz, a law student from Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche. According to the jury, Rebecca Gea resolved the case most effectively, taking the first prize of €1,000. Rebeca acknowledged that this award gave her “tremendous personal satisfaction, since it shows that the knowledge acquired from the lecturers at Universidad de Murcia has borne fruit.”
So, if you want to show just how much you have learned at university, you meet the requirements, and you would like to form part of a top law firm, fill in your application and send it off to [email protected] now. Remember – the deadline is this Friday.
